Our Origin Story

It started with a different idea about property management.

Kit MacPherson founded Maple Leaf in 2010 after discovering that what she enjoyed most about property management was not the transactions, but the long-term relationships behind them.

She had first launched a property management division within her father's company before venturing into property investment and portfolio management. As her family grew, Kit wanted to build a company that could offer flexibility in life while still providing thoughtful, customized service to clients.



So she built Maple Leaf around relationships and a team-based approach to property management.

Since then, Maple Leaf has grown to include Maple Leaf Real Estate, Maple Leaf Investment Properties, Rob Gasca Real Estate Group, and Home Together, our nonprofit created in 2022 to support families who need housing while their child receives treatment at Seattle Children's Hospital.

As a family-run business, we have the freedom to shape the kind of company we want to be. We choose craftsmanship over convenience, personal care over transactions, and teams over individuals.
