HOME TOGETHER
Partnering for a Purpose
As the Maple Leaf family, we devote our time, effort, and resources to the betterment of our communities.
Home Together began as a grassroots effort supported by Maple Leaf Property Management, which helped bring the idea to life using the tools and resources of our team. With their support, Home Together officially launched and began to take shape.
What began as a response to a critical need, as we witnessed families struggling to find safe, short-term housing while their children received life-saving treatment, has grown into a lasting commitment.
To this day, our work is driven by the generosity of Maple Leaf staff, property owners, tenants, and a compassionate community that believes in keeping families close to care. By partnering with our network of homeowners and hospital social workers, we continue to create meaningful housing solutions together.
Keeping Families Close to Care
Affordable housing for families who must relocate to Seattle for long-term care at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Our Mission
Home Together, (formerly Maple Leaf Foundation) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed in December of 2021.
It collaborates closely with Maple Leaf Real Estate and Seattle Children’s Hospital to create affordable and nurturing, child-centered housing, for families, who must relocate to Seattle for long term pediatric cancer and cardiac care. The majority of families we serve are low-moderate income.
Why Home Together
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, families are often required to relocate to Seattle—within 30 minutes of Seattle Children’s Hospital—for months at a time. Insurance doesn’t cover temporary lodging, and housing near the hospital is often scarce and unaffordable.
We provide cozy, fully furnished, and pet-friendly homes that allow families to stay together—because no one should have to choose between critical care and family stability.
How you can Help
Help Families Pay Rent
A small donation of $25–$50 per month goes much further than a one-time $100 gift. Your recurring donation can provide stable, safe homes to families during the most difficult times in their lives.
Recurring micro-donations = housing stability and peace of mind for our families.
If you’re a Maple Leaf client, you can add a tax-deductible donation directly to your monthly management fee. It’s automatic, easy, and impactful. You’ll receive a tax receipt each year, along with updates on the families you’ve helped.
Thank You – We Did It Together
We came together and we made it happened.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Family Dinner & Auction with one shared goal—supporting families receiving care at Seattle Children’s Hospital through safe, affordable housing. What happened that evening was nothing short of extraordinary.
Thanks to your generosity, we raised approximately $334,000, surpassing our ambitious goal of $300,000. This achievement is more than a number. It’s a reflection of the heart and strength of this community. Every dollar will directly support our housing program, helping us grow and serve even more families in 2026 and beyond.
Whether you joined us in person, volunteered your time, donated an auction item, or raised your paddle, you played a vital role in this success. Your presence and spirit filled the room with hope, compassion, and purpose.
We’re also excited to reveal the name of our ninth house soon—a symbol of the continued growth made possible by you.
From all of us at Home Together, thank you for showing up, giving generously, and believing in this mission. You’ve made a lasting difference.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Meet Corliss
