Lead Certification Requirement
Per federal law (EPA’s RRP Rule), any vendor working on homes built before 1978 must be Lead-Certified, whether their work disturbs painted surfaces or not. This applies to common trades like: handymen, general contractors, plumbers, electricians, painters, gutter installation/roofing, installers/refinishers, pressure washers, doors/windows, HVAC installers, tile installers, siding installers and others doing renovations and repairs/maintenance. If you need any guidance or clarification, we are here to help!
This certification ensures safe practices to prevent lead exposure, especially important for protecting children and families.
