Furnace Filters

mapleleafmanagement • February 5, 2020

With all the cold and damp weather we’ve been having, the furnace has been running often at my house. Most likely at your house as too. Because of this increased activity, remember that you need to change your furnace filters with more regularity!

When the furnace is running, the filters collect pet dander and dust particles, pollen and mold. When the filters get plugged up, the air flow is restricted and it will take longer to heat your home and your energy bills will be higher. It will also shorten the life of your heating system.

If you haven’t changed the filters recently, this would be a good time to do that maintenance chore.
