National Cat Day

National Cat Day, celebrated on October 29, honors our feline friends and raises awareness about cat adoption. Founded in 2005 by animal advocate Colleen Paige, this day encourages people to adopt cats from shelters, support rescue organizations, and promote responsible pet ownership. It’s also a great opportunity to celebrate cats in fun ways, whether by sharing adorable cat photos, giving your kitty extra treats, or learning more about the importance of caring for these beloved animals.
